Project of the Month – September, 25

This month, we’re spotlighting a breathtaking theater in Newport Beach, California.

Designed and built by Cantara Design www.cantaradesign.com, the space features

three rows of CINEAK’s acclaimed triple-motorized LARGO seating.

This theater was recently awarded by CEDIA, the Association for Smart Home Professionals™, as the best home theater during the 2025 Smart Home Awards.

CINEAK’s modular seating brings comfort, flexibility, and elegance to every setting.

Loveseats and individual seats with shared armrests create a versatile arrangement,

while removable swivel trays make it easy to enjoy refreshments without leaving the immersive atmosphere. At the heart of this design, CINEAK’s LARGO seats introduce a patented triple-motorized mechanism that seamlessly converts a refined low-back sofa into a high-back chair, delivering uncompromising luxury and support.

From a technical perspective, the room is equipped with cutting-edge audio and projection systems. A Dolby Atmos configuration with Wisdom Audio speakers delivers reference-level sound, enhanced by Storm Audio processing for a fully immersive surround experience.

On the visual side, Barco laser projection and a Stewart masking screen combine to produce stunning, cinema-quality imagery.

Ultimately, this theater provides an extraordinary home viewing experience—on par with the finest professional studio environments.
